Photodynamic Therapy

Photobiodynamic Therapy is a non-invasive, painless treatment which is used to treat different skin problems such as rosacea, acne, melasma, scars and others, and to promote skin rejuvenation.

This technology combines the application of photosensitive and photodynamic products, the SkinOx, exposed at the effects of HDD Light (High-Density Diodes) of the Fotoage Mask. The aim is to stimulate, regenerate and repair face and neck skin. High-density diode light is much more powerful than LED light and concentrates more energy over a larger area. It also allows a monochromatic light to be emitted and, for this reason, is more effective than other chromotherapy treatments.

Together with the products tat are applied, the Fotoage Mask emits a low-power LDD light which activates the stem cells painlessly and without side effects, allowing an increase in tissue repair and healing. This enhances the health and beauty of the skin.

Depending on a previous diagnosis and/or one carried out at the time of your session, one of 4 treatment protocols is chosen, using complementary Skinox cosmetic products:

SkinOx Wrinkles – for a complete treatment that aims to delay skin aging and promote new collagen production, significantly reducing photoaging damage. It is indicated as facial rejuvenation therapy as well as treatment and correction of installed wrinkles. It is combined with red light.

SkinOx Imperfections – suitable for acne-prone skin, with large or slight marks or imperfections caused by acne. Recent or old scars are perfected, and its appearance is visibly faded as treatments continue. It is combined with blue light.

SkinOx Redness – this protocol stimulates oxygenation and cellular breathing, at the same time promoting collagen and elastin production. It is indicated to improve redness and situations of rosacea. It is combined with yellow light.

SkinOx Stains – a treatment indicated for stains of any origin, on face and neckline. It is combined with green light.

The Mask that is applied over face and neck is made of a flexible material, capable of adapting itself to the client’s face, neck and décolleté, distributing light of different intensity and colour, which are then combined according to the dermo-epidermal conditions to be deal with.

BLUE: is antibacterial and has an anti-inflammatory effect indicated for the treatment of acne.
GREEN: indicated for the treatment of melasma and dark spots, as it inhibits excess melanin. In addition to lightening, it also has an anti-inflammatory effect and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.
YELLOW: has anti-inflammatory effect, improving rosacea and other dermatitis, fighting redness and relieving irritation.
RED: indicated for the treatment of wrinkles, as it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. It has anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates hair growth and cell regeneration.
